I received Rejuran Healer (2 cc by manual injection), known for its skin-regeneration effects, because I was concerned about dehydration from within and reduced elasticity across my face.
Pain and procedure Even though I applied numbing cream generously for about 40 minutes, the pain was quite severe, as rumored. Because the medication itself is highly viscous, I felt a dull, pricking pain as it was injected—enough to bring tears to my eyes. However, I endured it after hearing that the manual injection method, in which the doctor personally injects the product evenly into the dermal layer one tiny spot at a time, results in less product loss.
Downtime (embossing and bruising) Immediately after the procedure, my skin was covered with embossing marks—closely spaced, mosquito-bite-like bumps caused by the surface swelling.
Days 1–2: The embossing marks, slight redness, and needle marks remained clearly visible, so wearing a mask was essential. Days 3–4: As the raised embossing was absorbed, it had almost completely settled, leaving only slight bruising that could be covered with makeup.
Progress and effects Week 1: Once all the irritation on the skin surface had subsided, I first noticed that the inner dryness had improved. Even without applying lotion immediately after washing my face, the tightness was much less. Weeks 2–4: This was when the effects felt strongest. As my skin's oil-and-moisture balance came into alignment, its texture became smoother and I developed a natural glow from within, like a dewy sheen. Foundation no longer separated when I applied makeup, and its adherence noticeably improved.
There is definite downtime in the form of pain and embossing, and it is burdensome that the effects are said to last longer with at least three sessions at 3–4-week intervals rather than a single treatment. However, in terms of improving the skin's overall health and texture, this is by far the skin booster treatment I am most satisfied with.
