It has already been a month since surgery, and compared with immediately afterward, my eyes feel much more natural. At first the swelling made the crease look a little pronounced, but it gradually softened, and now it has settled enough that I do not worry much even when going out.
What I am most satisfied with is the difference when I open my eyes in the morning and when I wear makeup. Before, my double eyelids were barely visible, so even eye makeup seemed to disappear into my eyes, but now my eyes look much more defined even with light makeup. Not only do my eyes look bigger, but my overall impression seems cleaner and clearer, so I feel more confident taking photos.
Before surgery I worried that it might look too obvious or not suit my face, but after about a month, I am relieved that it seems close to the natural look I wanted. I am also satisfied with the medial canthoplasty because my eyes look a little more open without seeming excessively changed.
I have not fully recovered yet, but I am looking forward to it becoming even more natural as the swelling goes down and the crease stabilizes. After watching the progress through the one-month mark, I am very satisfied overall!
