I went for consultations at three places known for complete nasal silicone removal. But all three doctors had completely different styles, and what they said about my nose was also totally different, so choosing is really difficult. [Clinic A] said my nose had contracture, while [Clinic B] said it was ambiguous. [Clinic C] was the only one who explained things while looking at an ultrasound, and said it was not contracture. They said that complete removal would definitely allow my nose to return to its original natural state. [Clinic A] said reconstruction would be needed by grafting ear cartilage around the alar region. [Clinic B] said complete removal should generally be avoided unless I could not tolerate hardness at the tip, and that removing all the silicone and ear cartilage could definitely cause the nose to become upturned or droop, so a septal cartilage support strut would be necessary. How was everyone who consulted here? I actually liked [Clinic C] best in terms of the consultation and price and wanted to have it done there, but I have never seen a photographic review, so I am not sure. [Clinic A] is so exorbitantly expensive that I am deliberating, while [Clinic B] was unfriendly during the consultation and seemed to have a strong personal preference.
