Hehe, they say it gets soft and squishy after 6 months, and I kept wondering when 6 months would finally come... but after living day by day feeling satisfied, I’m now 6 months post-op too..!!!
I worried, since it was general anesthesia, what if I didn’t wake up, what if I chose the wrong hospital and the surgery went badly and they just ignored me... Then I found this hospital, and with some unexplainable trust I just went for it, and I really think it was the right choice!! I have zero regrets, and since I got the largest size possible for my body, I’m satisfied with the size too.
For the implants, I’m sure everyone feels this way, but I went in thinking, let’s only lie on the operating table once! So since I was doing it anyway, I decided to choose from a premium line. (My chest was really just bone and had no volume, so I also wanted something with a high fill rate...) I was thinking of getting the most expensive Motiva, but after going around to consultations and actually touching them, because Mentor Xtra felt soft and had FDA approval, my mind completely changed to Mentor Xtra. So far I’m satisfied with the feel and safety of Mentor Xtra!! It’s a shame I can’t upload a video here, but the feel is good and I like the size and shape too!!
I thought getting that wide “highway” gap between the breasts was the biggest... sign that you had surgery, so I’m a case who got fat grafting together as well. My cleavage gathers well, and even without a bra the shape holds nicely.. haha
Oh, and while I was going around to consultations... there were places that offered scar treatment 6 times within a period set by the hospital (at the time I thought, wow, they do it as many as 6 times...) This hospital is known for making smaller scars than other places (the photo was taken up close so it looks bigger than it really is; it’s smaller than two joints of my index finger!) Here, they said they would keep doing scar laser treatment until I’m satisfied.. I’ve had it twice now... and today I saw the scar is raised and bulging, sob sob ㅠㅠㅜ Still, it’s a relief that they keep managing it for me. I think 6 sessions would not have been nearly enough. I didn’t want scars left on my chest area, so I was going to do transaxillary, but because of inframammary fold correction I changed to an inframammary incision. So the scar really does bother me.. I’ll go to the hospital as often as possible and somehow make the scar lighter, then share the progress with everyone here too lol, to show how much it can fade.
Oh, and since I also got a lot of help from this community, I want to share as much information as I can, but please ask the hospital directly about the price!! I can share everything except the price, so feel free to ask anything in the comments!!
