▶️ My nose condition before surgery: hooked nose with a spread-looking nasal tip Maybe because of my nose, my overall impression looked quite masculine Overall, my features are on the larger side, but my nose was hooked and the line wasn’t pretty, so it stressed me out
When going to consultations, I think it’s important to first carefully check whether the nose line suits you and to understand well what kind of nose shape you want. I had only been worrying about surgery in my mind, but a friend who had surgery before me had such a pretty nose surgery result and her overall impression became so much prettier, so I gathered courage, got a clinic recommendation, and went for a consultation
At the clinic where I had surgery, the director, consultant, and all the staff were so kind, and they honestly talked to me about the surgical method and even things I didn’t know about rhinoplasty, including side effects, so I felt that if it was this clinic, I could trust them and leave it to them, which is why I had surgery
After scheduling the surgery, I was scared, so I carefully read all the reviews of the clinic where I was getting surgery, and every single nose line was pretty. The director had already been famous for being good at surgery even from the previous clinic... It didn’t seem like the factory-style clinic I had imagined, so I was reassured and had the surgery
On the day of surgery, I was so scared and nervous, but fortunately the atmosphere in the operating room was okay, so once I actually went in, I felt better... The nurse who tightly held my hand while I was lying in the operating room because I was trembling... I was touched...ㅠㅠ
After surgery, it was a bit uncomfortable while I had the cotton packing in, and thankfully I didn’t feel any pain at all.. Even while I had the splint on, my friends and family said that even though it was covered by the splint, they could tell the line was pretty, so even before removing the splint, I was excited and had high expectations..
Right after taking off the splint, I could see that the hooked nose and blunt nasal tip I had been worried about were completely improved... In the early stage after surgery, because of swelling, it looked very high and dramatic, but as the swelling gradually went down, it settled well like my original nose, and I think it now feels much more natural.. My friends all praised it, saying it turned out well and suits my face

▶️ Pain level
This really depends on the person, but I truly didn’t feel any pain at all... Since auricular cartilage wasn’t used, my ear area didn’t hurt either Having the cotton packing in was very uncomfortable On the first day, I think my back hurt a lot because I slept sitting up...
▶️ Cost? This also really depends on each person’s diagnosis For a first surgery, it’s usually in the high 2 million to 3 million KRW range, and I’ve seen places that quote over 4 million too.. Cheap doesn’t mean everything is good~
▶️ Clinic selection tip? Each director has their own style, so look at as many postoperative photos as possible and go for consultations mainly at clinics where you think the line matches the nose line you want!
And even if it’s the nose line you want, you need to think about whether it will suit your face... I’ve seen several people regret blindly making their nose high with a dramatic nose line that didn’t even suit their faceㅠㅠ I think it’s also important to meet a director who diagnoses you well and keeps it suitable for your face without overdoing it~!!
