For thread lifting, make sure you find a good doctor

I got a Mint thread lift at a clinic specializing in petite procedures in Daegu. This was my second time. The first time, I had it done by the female director I always went to for InMode or fillers, and I was very satisfied. People around me reacted well too. But the problem is that the second time was a complete disaster.. ㅠ When I went in for the second procedure, the female director wasn’t there, so I had it done by the male director. The male director was the main? director of this clinic, so I went in for the procedure without worrying much. The original plan was to put 4 threads in each cheek, but he said one cheek had more fat, and without even telling me, he put 6 threads only on one side and 2 threads on the other side. He told me that after the procedure was all finished. Of course, only the side with 6 threads swelled up massively and my face looked like I’d had an impacted wisdom tooth extracted, while the side with 2 threads didn’t lift at all and had literally no change. With my first lift, I was swollen for one day and could go about daily life from the very next day, and I looked prettier right away. But this time, even after 2 weeks the swelling didn’t go down, so I went to the clinic and complained, but the director only said he couldn’t tell it was swollen and told me to wait longer^^..ㅎㅎ I was furious, but I waited one more week, and except for the swelling going down slightly, it didn’t improve. In the end, I massaged hard with my hands and snapped all the threads, then got InMode only on one cheek, and now it’s a bit better. Usually thread lift ads say that collagen fills in where the threads dissolve and gives the skin elasticity, but I don’t think that’s collagen filling in; it just feels like scar tissue forms and makes the skin hard.. ㅋㅋ If you have facial asymmetry, absolutely do not do something like putting more threads into the side with more fat. Your face will get even puffier!

Also, while getting the thread lift, I got filler at the same time, and maybe he was busy, but he just shoved the syringe in right away without anesthesia. It hurt so much I almost passed outㅎㅎ When I asked why he was injecting without anesthesia, he said something like the nasolabial folds are an area that doesn’t necessarily need anesthesia. I’ve easily spent over ten million won at this clinic, so I was so angry that the director handled it like that, but the female director is skilled, so I’m still going thereㅎ
