I visited 3 clinics because I am planning another repeat repeat repeat repeat double-eyelid surgery, and all three clinics agreed that the double-eyelid line had only loosened, so they would re-fix the existing line. The problem was the canthoplasty. Two places that are famous these days for semi-slit out corners said canthoplasty was not possible, or only lower canthoplasty was recommended, and only the clinic where my younger sibling had surgery said canthoplasty was possible.
Since canthoplasty is my main goal among the revision surgeries, I liked the consultation at the clinic where my younger sibling had surgery (ㅍㅇ) the most (the surgical method is a little different, and the director's consultation was good too). The other two were just okay. (At ㅂㄴ, they did not recommend either outer or lower canthoplasty, and said if I did outer canthoplasty, scar tissue would show, so they recommended only natural adhesion for the double-eyelid line. At ㅍ, as expected from a factory-style place, the wait was extremely long and they said only lower canthoplasty was possible; the consultation was so-so and the marketing effect seemed stronger than the reviews.) As expected, big hospitals do not suit me..
The first surgery was buried suture, the second was partial incision, and the third was buried suture + outer and lower canthoplasty. I had the third surgery about 8 years ago, but with time it loosened a lot. I am thinking about a fourth surgery at the same place, and the director is very kind and does not recommend unnecessary or excessive surgery, but I am still a little unsure.
