Medial canthoplasty restoration review

Before<*Before surgery >After<*On the day of surgery, I had much less bruising than I expected, and I was surprised that it hurt less than I thought. I may just be someone who is insensitive to pain, but I had almost no pain!>After<2-3 days after surgery, there was only slight swelling and slight pain, with no discomfort!>After<One month after surgery, I have a bit of new skin tissue, so I’ve been applying new-skin cream consistently ㅜㅠ I don’t know when it will disappear, but for now I’m going to keep watching it! I’m so satisfied because my eye shape and impression have become softer!!>Medial canthoplasty had stressed me out for a long time ㅜㅠ At my previous clinic, I had upper canthoplasty at the same time as double eyelid revision surgery, but it turned out it had been done as medial canthoplasty, not upper canthoplasty. After that, I disliked how my eyes made my impression look strong in photos, and I was very bothered because my impression looked harsh.

For about 2-3 years, I wondered whether I should reduce my double eyelid line and went to consultations at other places, but the doctors said it would be difficult unless it was an incisional procedure, and some doctors did not recommend surgery, so I had given up. Then by chance, I learned about medial canthoplasty restoration and looked around at many places. I had consultations at several places too, and among them I decided to have surgery at Mate Plastic Surgery, which I liked the most. During the consultation, they understood the part that stressed me out the most, and somehow it felt like they were sincerely worrying with me and helping solve my concern. After the consultation with the manager, I felt the same way when I consulted with Director Kim Geun-sik, so I decided to have the surgery.

*Day of surgery On the day of surgery, the surgery was delayed by about 2 hours from the scheduled appointment time, so waiting was a bit hard, but they still responded kindly, so I think I was able to wait. Before going into surgery, the director designed the surgical plan, and I think the design alone took almost 20-30 minutes. He checks it extremely meticulously..

The surgery was performed under sedation + local anesthesia, and before anesthesia I was worried about many things, but the nurse made small jokes, and the director was extremely meticulous even during surgery, so I think I worried for nothing.

*1-2 weeks after surgery For the week when the stitches were in, it was inconvenient because I couldn’t wash my face properly, but there was hardly any pain or swelling, so it didn’t interfere with daily life at all! During that week, I washed my face as carefully as possible while avoiding the eyes as much as possible, and when washing my hair, I tilted my head backward and tried my best not to let water touch the area. And I made sure to keep DuoDERM on!

After the stitches were removed, I managed it by applying the new-skin ointment prescribed by the clinic and attaching regeneration tape (DuoDERM)! -->During the day, apply new-skin ointment; at night, apply regeneration tape (DuoDERM)

*One month after surgery I’ve been consistently managing it until now by applying the new-skin ointment morning and evening. The scar has not fully healed yet, so the red scar tissue is visible and bothers me a little, but the clinic explained this part in detail too, and since it is an issue that takes some time, I decided to watch it over a longer interval. ㅜㅠ I really hope it settles cleanlyㅜ

My satisfaction after surgery was almost close to 100%. Because I had been so stressed and wanted a gentle impression, overall it was a very satisfying surgery.

I plan to post additional reviews as time passes :-)
