1. Before surgery, I went to consultations at more than 10 places, including 4 in Seoul, 1 in Daejeon, 1 in Jinju, 1 in Suwon (Yongin), 4 in Daegu, etc. I set the surgery date for 2023.01.10 at 9 o’clock, then kept agonizing again. Should I do it? Should I not? On the day of surgery, I was so nervous that my blood pressure just would not go down, which caused trouble. Finally, anesthesia.. one, two.. when I woke up, I was in the recovery room ~ I left out lower eyelid fat repositioning during the surgery because I have severe dry eye syndrome too (it may not be related, but emotionally that was how I felt, so I excluded it), but once the lifted areas settle, I’m thinking I should do it later (because when there was postoperative swelling and the area under my eyes wasn’t bulging, I looked about 5 years younger)
2. Progress: On day 3 after surgery, after getting a series of treatments such as removal of the blood drain, I was taking the elevator down. Someone who had surgery 10 years ago and had come in together with an acquaintance for a consultation because the acquaintance was going to have surgery, said they knew because they had undergone the surgery themselves, and after seeing me, said it turned out so well and asked for my phone number.. then called me and even asked all sorts of questions~ so :I think I had almost no swelling compared with other people. The uncomfortable part is that chewing food when eating is a little uncomfortable, but for that kind of surgery, I think that level of discomfort is normal. Other than a slight pulling sensation in the face, there was nothing particularly painful or anything like that. Every surgery varies by individual, and what I’m writing here is just “this is how it was for me,” so I hope you use it only as a reference. 3. During the time when we wore masks because of COVID (only the eyes were outside the mask), the area under my eyes bothered me, so I decided to get lower eyelid fat repositioning and went to the hospital. A junior colleague who said she only went up and down the stairs 7 times looked at me and said I’d made an amazing decision... clap! clap! clap! I also went up and down those stairs for over a year... up and down, up and down... The reason I decided to write even this small post is that, like me, or really any ordinary person, almost everyone would go through this kind of mental process, so I’m writing this rambling post to help ease that fear even a little~ I also did a lot of legwork, and I’m one of the people who prepared for surgery by reading reviews in a community, so I made my choice through that kind of sharing too, and it diluted my fear. If you choose a hospital with good facilities and a doctor with a lot of experience, you will get good results without aftereffects~ I’ll also add that it is each person’s responsibility to do the legwork, choose the doctor who suits them, and make the decision.
The photos weren’t taken deliberately, so my hair is all wild and disheveled like a crazy person. Please just look at the progress of the surgery~ First: the photos are before surgery, then day 5 and day 10 respectively. The neck area has become so firm, no, so toned!!
