A lot of people probably saw my post. It was about having a complication after using mesh. The mesh pierced through my mucous membrane, and it’s been 6 months now since I had it replaced with donated costal cartilage. My nasal bridge is in a contracted state, and I had my first surgery in 2014 (the mesh was used in my second surgery). I felt too burdened to remove the nasal silicone, so I went around for consultations trying to somehow replace it instead, but they say my mucous membrane is pierced right now and the donated costal cartilage inside is visible haha. But when I had my 3-month follow-up after the donated costal cartilage replacement at the hospital where I had the previous surgery, they said the mucous membrane had completely healed lol. They said it healed well lol. That area isn’t something I can see with my own eyes, so I just thought, “I guess so.” Only today, after getting a CT at an ENT clinic and looking inside my nose, I saw there was still a hole haha. I went to the hospital where I had the surgery and asked the doctor, “If another patient in this condition asked you to make their nose higher, would you do it?” and he said he would lol. He said this isn’t a problem at all, and that the cartilage is just showing through lol. This is “showing through”? It really made me lose any desire to keep talking lol. At another hospital, they said they couldn’t even do revision surgery for me because of that ^^ and that place is famous for being totally blacklisted too, but even they said they wouldn’t do it lol. From the start, I had surgery from a total psycho. From the moment the mesh first came out lol, when they gaslit me saying it could happen if I picked my nose too aggressively, I should have known lol. At first, I said I couldn’t trust that hospital anymore, so just refund me the removal cost and the anesthesia fee I paid last time for the donated costal cartilage replacement, but I got so furious that I told them to refund the entire surgery fee. Then they said okay. And I signed an agreement saying not to disclose it online haha. Ugh lol. Of course the surgery fee was a given. I should’ve gotten the removal cost refunded too. In the end, I’ve decided to just remove all the silicone and take care of the mucous membrane first ㅠ Both hospitals I consulted said contraction is progressing, so in my current state, removing the silicone is the right thing to do. Sigh, this will be my first time removing the nasal bridge silicone in 9 years. I’m seriously so worried. Will I even be able to live like a normal person? ㅠ I did get the surgery fee refunded, but I’ll only be able to have revision surgery 6 months after removing my nose implants, so who’s going to compensate me for the past 2 years of my life? haha Seriously, why are there so many trash hospitals? This is already my third fight with hospitals around Gangnam Station^^

Haha, today I went to a hospital specializing in removal and scheduled a date, and I got 6 million won refunded for the surgery, but the removal cost is 5.9 million won lol. And in my condition, even if everything is removed, contraction will definitely happen, and the nasal tip will lift even more than now lol. They said from the beginning, when the mucous membrane was first pierced, all foreign materials should have been removed. They said bacteria are still entering through the hole in my mucous membrane even now, and even if pus-like discharge forms, it all drains out through that area, so I’m in a situation where I can’t really feel it haha. Now it’s already been 7 months since the mucous membrane was pierced, so removal is one thing, but they said contraction will definitely happen first, and after I recover from everything, I’ll need revision surgery again haha.
There’s still a hole in my mucous membrane, but that doctor said that in this condition it isn’t a problem, and that if it were him, he would still make the nose higher and do revision surgery. I feel like I can’t be the only person he’s ruined. If he performs surgery with that kind of mindset, how many people has he destroyed? And from the start, when it had been one month since the mucous membrane was pierced, instead of saying all of it should be removed, the idea of only replacing the nasal tip mesh and donated costal cartilage was lolololol. Looking back now, it really seems like an insane idea. It was already completely infected, but he only replaced the nasal tip, and even though there was a hole, because I said my nasal tip had dropped too much and asked him to make it higher, he said he inserted a larger donated costal cartilage graft than before lol. Of course there’s still a hole if he put in something bigger than before when there was already a hole. Even this time, when inflammation first appeared in my nasal bridge at that hospital, they said to leave the donated costal cartilage as it was and only remove the nasal bridge implant, but then the mucosal hole would have stayed the same lolololol. Honestly, maybe it was at least a stroke of luck that I didn’t let that trash hospital and quack doctor put a knife to me for a third time.
The removal fee is 5.9 million won now, and the revision surgery 6 months later starts from 13 million won ^^. And since they say that even after removal, the nasal tip will lift more and contraction will definitely happen, I can’t even estimate how much more damaged it will get, and I keep thinking, what sin did I commit in a past life to end up like this? My nose had been operated on more than 7 years ago and was a completely easy nose, and I simply chose a clean-looking large hospital near Gangnam Station, without even going to consultations elsewhere, thinking they’d take care of it well. Why do I have to be punished for that?
Everyone, if your mucous membrane gets pierced like mine, or if the nasal tip should normally droop over time but instead your nostrils gradually become more visible from the front than before, that is definitely inflammation and contraction. So I recommend not only trusting the hospital where you had surgery, and definitely going to an ENT clinic or another hospital too. I was careless and thought that even if contraction happened, I’d be able to have revision surgery 6 months after being cut open, but that wasn’t the case. If contraction happens, silicone removal is absolutely necessary ㅠㅜ Even if it seems to calm down after taking medicine, that’s not really it ㅠ I hope no one wastes time like I did ㅠ
