This was a surgery I had several years ago, but I’m writing this in case anyone is curious. In 2018, I had incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction. Maybe because it was done by incision, there are no signs of it coming undone, and the line has dropped a lot, to the point that when I open my eyes it looks almost like I have monolids. It felt like all the swelling finally went down about 1.5-2 years after surgery... But if anything, I’m satisfied because it seems to look less obviously surgical. There haven’t been any major side effects, but maybe because of the ptosis correction, I developed slight dry eye. I completely gave up the thought of getting LASIK.. Still, my satisfaction with the surgery is high, so I don’t regret it. There’s no sausage-like swelling at all, and I think it turned out naturally well.
