Hehe, at first I asked the doctor who did my surgery, “I definitely need nostril reduction too, right?” (Because I wanted to make my nasal tip as slim as possible lol) But the doctor said nostril reduction is a completely separate surgery from rhinoplasty, so first we should work on the base of the nasal bridge and nasal tip~ and that even just raising it sharply can improve a bulbous nose quite a lot~ He told me to trust him and do the main rhinoplasty first, and that nostril reduction is something to do later only if it is really necessary afterward~
It has now been 7 months since I had bulbous nose surgery, and I think I did well to trust the doctor lol, listen to him... and follow his advice~ My nasal tip was raised sharply~ and because I had bulbous nose correction, the tip also became really slim. Most of all, when seen from the front, my nasal tip looks so pretty I have friends around me who also had surgery, and they said making the nasal tip look pretty even from the front is the hardest part They said mine seems to have turned out well and looks pretty, and they were jealous
For the surgery, I raised the nasal bridge and raised the nasal tip. The nasal bridge was osteotomized to make it look slimmer~ and while removing tissue from the nasal tip, I also had bulbous nose correction~ Septal cartilage + ear cartilage were used~!
When you look at my nose now, it doesn’t look bulbous at all, right~!? I posted pre-op photos once before~!
