I’ve been looking into clinics for double eyelid surgery, so I went around to several places for consultations. To summarize:
Premier: The consultant was very kind. I had a consultation with Director Jang, but it felt kind of rushed... The consultation ended in 5 minutes... It was the most perfunctory among the plastic surgery clinics I visited. Also, there was a recent controversy about proxy surgery, so it feels uneasy ☆☆☆
IDEL: The consultant was not great... The director was very kind and explained everything one by one. The reviews are good too. They tend to create slightly glamorous lines ☆☆☆☆
Ilmiri: The consultant was very kind. The price was the best among the places I visited. I had a consultation with Director Do, and they were very straightforward and confident. But the wait time for the consultation was too long. I went on time, but I waited over 30 minutes just for the consultation ☆☆☆☆
POP Plastic Surgery: The consultant was so, so kind! I had a consultation with Director Kim, and this person seems to specialize in non-incisional double eyelid surgery. Since I have a lot of fat on my upper eyelids, every other place recommended incision, but here I was recommended ptosis correction and non-incisional double eyelid surgery. They also said Director Kim has Korea’s first 12-thread patent(?) or something. Also, this place seems good at creating glamorous lines. This was the only place that recommended a semi-out line. But I like a natural in-out line, so I canceled, though if you like glamorous lines, I recommend this place! ☆☆☆☆☆
Yellow Plastic Surgery: The consultant was kind! But the clinic is small, so the facilities are not great... The wait time was long, similar to Ilmiri. I had a consultation with Dr. Lee, and they consulted very thoroughly! If you want a natural line, this place is good. They seem to specialize in in-out lines! Also, you can watch the CCTV when the surgery begins! But you can only watch for a short time, and if there are many people, they tell you to go to the first floor ㅠㅠㅠ For reference, I had it done here... Before going into surgery, the director carefully checked the line I wanted! If you have an exact line you want, it seems best to bring photos and explain precisely for it to come out well ☆☆☆☆☆ (4 and a half stars)
