My teeth became sunken after orthodontic treatment. Is re-treatment the answer?

I had orthodontic treatment at an orthodontic clinic because of a slightly protruding mouth and crowded teeth. Starting in the third year of middle school, the braces treatment ended in my second year of high school, but when the braces came off I cried a lot. My mouth looked too far back, so I ended up with a sunken, hollowed look, and when I smiled my teeth looked too far in and appeared dark.

They said if I did reverse orthodontic treatment, it would take about 3 years, and the doctor said if I took the braces off then it would be over, but I didn't listen to anything and was so devastated. Since extraction orthodontics removes teeth there is a limit, and I ended up finishing treatment in that sunken state, thinking that I would have to go through that uncomfortable process again.

After that, every time I looked in the mirror, I hated my recessed mouth and smaller lips so much. I went around looking for places that do reverse orthodontic treatment, but the answer I kept getting was that extraction orthodontics can't be helped, and that to bring the teeth forward I would have to place 4 implants again, which left me devastated once more. I would like recommendations for a doctor or clinic that is good at reverse orthodontic treatment ㅠㅠ Or if you have had reverse orthodontic treatment, please give me some advice!
