Before <before surgery> After <after surgery> After the college entrance exam, I ended up getting double eyelid surgery at my parents’ recommendation. Since I’m usually not very interested in plastic surgery, makeup, or taking care of my appearance, I went to the clinic without prior information about the characteristics of my eyes, the eye shape I wanted, or the surgical method. At first, the word surgery really scared me, and I was afraid and worried that it would hurt a lot, but the clinic’s consultant, the people at the front desk, the nurse, and the doctor were all so kind. In particular, the consultant and the doctor explained the surgical method that suited me and the surgical process in a reassuring and detailed way, so I was able to overcome my fear. After surgery, my eyes felt a bit stiff, and there was some swelling and bruising, so it bothered me a little, but it gradually went away. Every time I went for follow-up checks, the doctor told me it had gone well and kindly answered my questions, so I felt reassured and grateful.
