I had always thought that I would never get filler or fat grafting afterward. There was so much talk about side effects.. Especially because I saw so many reviews saying filler migratesㅜㅜ So I had even paid 2 million won to get treatments with a prepaid package at an expensive skin care clinic.. I must have been crazyㅜㅜ
I went to a dermatology clinic run by a doctor I trusted from YouTube to get a consultation about sagging chin fat. The doctor was really good. The staff were all kind too. As soon as the doctor saw me, they said the priority was not my chin fat but 1. lower blepharoplasty and 2. correcting hollowing in the lateral cheeks. They said lower blepharoplasty was outside their own area but still recommended it.. They explained things really honestly and objectively, and it didn’t feel like they were trying to sell me anything, so I was moved. But the problem was the consultation manager. They said if I put filler in my lateral cheeks, I would see an immediate effect. When I hesitated, they said there are scary stories online about filler moving and side effects, but there’s no basis for them, and that they themselves got it 8 years ago and are still satisfied, and they have had their husband, mother, and people around them all get it too.. I still hesitated, but there were only exactly two types of filler: one domestic and one imported. They said domestic was 150,000 won and imported was 400,000 won, so when I asked what the difference was, they said it was how long it lasts. With all kinds of sweet talk, and because I’m easily swayed.. I thought, surely they wouldn’t scam me, so I said I’d do the domestic one, and they said it would be 660,000 won including VAT for 2 cc on each side. I wondered if 2 cc was too much, but they said even lips alone use 2 cc, and since the lateral cheeks cover a wide area, that was actually a small amount. I didn’t know anything, so I thought maybe that was right and went ahead, and they said another specialist doctor would do the procedure. (Now when I look at the clinic website, that doctor’s name isn’t listed among the medical staff, so I don’t know what happened...) Anyway, I got it done and came out, and they just told me the precautions and told me to go home.. As soon as I got home, I regretted it so much I feel like I’m going to get depression. They put more on the left side, so when I smile, my face bulges out to the side. They put less on the right side, so it’s okay, but there’s a slight lump, so under light a shadow forms.ㅠㅠ Overall, my lateral cheeks look fuller so I do look younger.. But the problem is that my smile looks awkward.ㅜㅜ The shape around my mouth is uneven too, and I can’t smile broadly, and when I smile, my left cheek bulges out sideways...
I want to dissolve it, but they say it doesn’t dissolve 100%, so I’m really depressed. I even spent 660,000 won, and if I spend more money to dissolve it and can’t dissolve it completely, I’m afraid my face might look even stranger, so I can’t do it.ㅜㅜ
My husband saw me yesterday and didn’t even realize I had gotten filler; instead, he said my face looked gaunt.ㅠㅠ
Now that I got filler, I can’t even get massages... I really hate the consultation manager who talked as if there were no side effects. Of course, the biggest problem is that I’m easily swayed.. but I’m so depressed
