Nose surgery AS, skin tearing

I got AS for my nose yesterday, and they said they removed the Silitome and put in one piece of ear cartilage where the nasal tip was lifted. But they said the nasal tip was attached too tightly to the cartilage, so while separating it, the skin tore and they sutured it. Does this happen often? Yesterday the anesthesia hadn’t fully worn off, so I only half-listened to what the director was saying. I think they said something like it probably wouldn’t scar much, but something was attached over it so I couldn’t really see. Then when I changed the DuoDERM and looked, there was another suture above the open-surgery scar, and because of the blood scab I can’t check it well. I should complain, right?
