On the day of surgery and until the next day, it hurt and was hard, but from day 3 I started to feel a bit alive, and after a week I could do all daily activities (removed the pain-control injection on day 3, showered with waterproof bandages on, started cleaning, housework, and childcare / drove a short distance on day 4 / went to work at an office job on day 5)
At week 1, I went in for a visit, had the Dermabond removed, met the director for a progress check, and received week-1 care (modeling pack, lymphatic care, Healite) - I went on a weekday so there was no wait They said it was now okay for water to touch the area without waterproof bandages, so I just showered normally
Week 2 - My breasts are already soft and the feel has improved. It was only a day to receive week-2 care, but a dissolvable suture was sticking out at the end of the inframammary incision under my left breast, so I met the director and they cut off the protruding thread (they said part of an undissolved suture had come out above the skin, and that this can happen and was nothing serious) - It was Saturday but there was no wait Week-2 care (lymphatic care, Healite, I’m not sure what the other one was..) They said I didn’t have to wear the upper band or take the capsular contracture medicine if they were uncomfortable or caused side effects, but I’m wearing the upper band consistently to help the upper fullness come down faster, and since I have no side effects from the capsular contracture medicine, I’m taking it diligently too.
It’s only week 2, but my satisfaction with the surgery is the highest. The upper fullness has already come down a lot, and I don’t know if my tissue softened quickly, but the soft, squishy feel is so nice.. For the first time after surgery, I showed my husband. He had made a huge fuss trying to stop me from getting the surgery, so I went alone and secretly had it done, but after he saw and touched my breasts, his expression changed :)
