Day 5 after Facial Contouring

Before <before surgery> After <immediately after surgery> After <Day 3, the day the tape under my chin was removed> After <Day 5, most recent>-Immediately after surgery-

Somehow I got through the surgery, and when I opened my eyes, my jaw hurt soooooooo freaking badly... It hurt so much, but the anesthesia still hadn't worn off, so I just kept lying there like a living corpse, screaming inside my head, "Please save me!!!!"... I couldn't move my body the way I wanted. My throat hurt like crazy too. Every time I swallowed saliva, it was pure pain. The nurses kept telling me to get up, but I think I really woke up about 3 hours later. And I suffered in pain all night... The pain in my jaw was extremely severe on both sides. Because of that pain, I even had a bad headache, and even with the combo of a PCA pain-control injection + painkillers, I could still feel it, so I couldn't sleep all night in the hospital room and woke up every 30 minutes. I seriously thought, ah, if it's going to be like this, I'd rather just die... Still, somehow I held out until discharge. The nurses did take good care of me at dawn, but they felt bad because they couldn't make my pain go away completely. (There are proper limits for PCA and painkillers too, so they couldn't overdose me ㅠㅠ) Before discharge, when they removed the drain placed inside my cheek, it hurt, so I went bueeeng again... It depends on the person, but personally I'm jealous of people who say it was just stiff or that it didn't hurt much ㅠㅠ...

-Day 1 after surgery- Somehow I made it back home again.. I couldn't open my mouth, and it had been almost two days since I had eaten anything (including fasting before surgery). I was freaking starving, but I couldn't open my mouth, so I couldn't eat anything. I blended banana + protein shake + milk and drank that.. Because of the pain, I had no appetite either... My throat still hurt and I was still in pain, so I took the prescribed medicine + Tylenol after meals. Sleeping was uncomfortable too, so I couldn't sleep and woke up every two hours..

-Day 2 after surgery- A repeat of the same routine.. Starting from Day 1, I went outside in the evening and walked for an hour each time. After walking, I somehow felt like the swelling got a little better.. I also kept doing ice packs regularly and wore the compression band. But when I wore the compression band, it swelled and hurt again. Seriously, wtf is my body supposed to do ㅠㅠ..

-Day 3 after surgery- I had the tape attached under my chin removed.. But the days were still the same... As an extroverted person, I couldn't really talk to people, had nothing to do, and was stuck at home, so I gradually started feeling depressed.

-Day 4 after surgery- I was finally able to open my mouth a little and eat porridge!!! (swallowing porridge: yes / chewing: no) Oh, and I also have to use the prescribed mouthwash often!! Without realizing it, my teeth kept feeling itchy.. The jaw area also kept having this strange feeling, like should I say it felt all wobbly and weird? I kept feeling something, and it was stiff and strange.. But it wasn't exactly a good feeling. It was just constantly uncomfortable, yeah.

-Day 5 after surgery- Finally on my way to the hospital to get disinfection done.. But honestly, when I look from the front, my face seems kind of slimmer, but maybe because of swelling in the side profile, or maybe just because I'm ugly, I still can't really tell much of a difference. I just look uglierㅠㅠ
