After my first nose surgery, on the day the splint was removed, the doctor in charge started by getting irritated at me, asking why I hadn't come in when blood had collected.... Since blood had collected, they said they would remove it with a syringe. They drew the blood without anesthesia, put cotton in, then said they would do open irrigation and do an early correction 4 days later... Even on the day of the early correction, it looked like they had raised it way too much... When the splint came off, they had made it into a completely upturned nose.. I said that even when I see people saying their nose lifted up because of swelling, they don't have an upturned nose, and asked if mine was like this because it had been opened several times. They said that could be the case, and that only about 20% of the swelling left would go down.... They told me that the shape was unlikely to change...
I can say with confidence that I managed my postoperative care more cleanly and diligently than anyone..
I really went into the operating room 3 times in just 12 days.... Every time I went, being at that hospital for 8 hours was the norm...
And this is the result.... I want to die..... I'm so embarrassed to even take off my mask, and when I make eye contact and talk with people, it feels like they're only looking at my nose.....
Why did they raise it so excessively and make an upturned nose, even making my philtrum look so much longer.... And why did they make only me like this... really.... If I didn't have my partner, I think I would have had a lot of bad thoughts...
Before nose surgery, when we consulted about the nose shape, they really listened half-heartedly, and the only thing they said back was that because my skin was thick, this was the only result possible..... If not doing enough consultation shopping was my fault, then I guess that was my fault........ I really think it's important during consultation to see how much interest they have in my nose, how much interest they have in the complexes I have, and whether they give clear solutions..
How am I supposed to live from now on... for 6 months
