I finally went around for revision rhinoplasty consultations! I went to ㅇㅍ and ㅈㅅㅌ, and since their opinions were different, I am tornㅠ At ㅇㅍ, I saw Director ㅎㄷㅎ, and I was diagnosed with the need for osteotomy, bulbous nose correction, nasolabial angle correction, and white nose correction, and there is a 10,000 won consultation fee! They take a CT scan before the consultation, and maybe because it was early in the morning, there was almost no waiting. The consultant was very kind, and the director also explained things well while looking at the CT. They said my internal deviated septum is very severe, and that it is a nose that cannot be operated on unless rib cartilage is used, but they recommended donated rib cartilage rather than autologous costal cartilage. I also briefly asked about my eyes, and they said I absolutely need medial epicanthoplasty, but even when I ask other people about medial epicanthoplasty, I hear that I should not do it, so I found that odd. There was no pressure to book on the same day, but they did hint that the director is very good at noses and that I should do it there, and I did get some calls and texts. Still, they were very kind, so I liked that.
ㅈㅅㅌ also has a 10,000 won consultation fee and CT, and there is somewhat of a wait. I first met with the consultant, then had the consultation with Director ㄱㄱㅎ, and it seemed like they took very detailed notes whenever I spoke. The consultant here was also very kind. The director came in first saying sorry for making me wait, so my first impression was very good. For my nose, I was diagnosed with white nose correction, columella, nasolabial angle, short nose, bulbous nose, contracted nose, capsule removal, donated rib cartilage, deviated septum, and inferior turbinate reduction. Written out like this, it looks like a lot, but they drew pictures while explaining how they would do the surgery and what direction it would go in, so it was very easy to understand. And here they said the septum is quite deviated, but not severe, and that osteotomy would be good to do, but it is absolutely not a nose that necessarily needs osteotomy. They explained the reason and said they definitely do not recommend it. Also, when I brought in photos of what I wanted, they said they could do it. Then I consulted with the consultant again, and she said the director had said it is a difficult nose, but he is confident. But since I heard it secondhand, I wondered whether he really said that. And I forgot to ask the director about my eyes, so when I mentioned it to the consultant, she said it seemed like I did not need to do them, but I am still debatingㅠ The cost was much higher at ㅈㅅㅌ. But ㅇㅍ did not send me the functional nose surgery price properly, so I do not know if it was calculated correctly. When I look at both clinics' review photos, I like the shapes, and both directors are famous, so I do not know which side to choose.
