It was my first surgery and first consultation, so I was really stumbling through it.. But after going to 2 consultations, I feel like the question list is now roughly stuck in my head. My nose is long and arrow-shaped.
1 ㅋㅇ The director was extremely kind. Compared with his strong first impression, he was warm and made me feel very comfortable. The consultant was just so-so. I waited a little and then went in for the consultation. Consultation fee + CT scan fee = 10,000 won Since I have a nasal bridge, they said they wouldn’t touch it and would use septal cartilage for the nasal tip. If that wasn’t enough, they said they would use ear cartilage. Muscle resection Septal deviation functional rhinoplasty together: 3.8 million won Without functional rhinoplasty: 3.3 million won
2 ㅋㄴㅍ (now ㅂㄷㄴ) Before the director’s consultation, when I asked the consultant whether muscle resection was necessary, she said it wasn’t necessary, but also said that would be uncomfortable. When I asked during the director’s consultation, he said muscle resection is basic for an arrow noseㅎ When I told the consultant again, her reaction was, “Oh my ㅎ then you should do it.” I was like, what is thisㅠㅠ The director seemed very confident and said my nose was very easy. Without functional rhinoplasty, raising the nasal tip using septal cartilage + ear cartilage: 3.3 million won
Both said they would do swelling laser treatment. But do I really have to do septal deviation correction…? I do have rhinitis, and my septum is very slightly deviated too, but they say almost all Korean people have some degree of deviation..
