I’m only 1 month post-op, so there’s still a long time before I can do things like tacking the inframammary fold, and I just hope it somehow evens out before the 6-month mark when revision surgery becomes possibleㅠㅠ I really don’t want to go under the knife againㅠ Has anyone had this corrected with Vob?
It’s not like my nipple is severely pointing upward, but the inframammary fold is way too long on just one side. Before surgery, it was actually the opposite, you know? The side where the fold is long now originally had both the fold and nipple position higher. That means it must be over-dissection...
The consultant says that if the other side comes down a little more, they’ll match, but from the start, both sides’ folds are currently aligned exactly with the incision lines, the incision line positions are different too, and if the other side comes down more than now, wouldn’t that be bottoming out? Isn’t that right? So when I told them that, they said nothing can really be done until the breasts fully take shape and settle, so for now we should watch the progress. They said even if they do tacking later, they’ll manage it well so I can recover quickly, and the doctor only made me a splint for the left inframammary fold. It’s been 1 week since I started wearing the splint, but so far there’s no particular change. (In the photo, the Vob is lifting around the cleavage area because the splint goes all the way into the cleavage side.)
If I keep supporting it steadily with the splint in this state, will there be any change? Are there any cases where it wasn’t bottoming out, but over-dissection was corrected with Vob??ㅠㅠ I’d really be happy if it just moved up about exactly 1 cm...
