Before/after Before surgery, I had been hearing a lot lately that my upper eyelids looked puffy, maybe because the skin on my eyelids was sagging. I heard that Girin Plastic Surgery Clinic was good with eye procedures, so I had a consultation and had revision ptosis correction surgery at the same time. The doctor kindly explained everything during the consultation. Because my eyes had a sagging look and because of the strength needed to open my eyes, the doctor said a forehead lift and ptosis correction would be suitable, so I decided to proceed that way. Since my eyes are uneven, the doctor designed the double eyelid lines as evenly as possible on both sides in the semi-out line I wanted. On the first day after surgery, I stayed in the recovery room and then went home. Maybe because of the forehead lift, I had a severe headacheㅜ From the next day, bruising and swelling appeared, so I was told to do cold compresses and take walks regularly. I’m looking forward to seeing the bruising and swelling go down quickly.
On day 9 after surgery, I went to have the forehead lift stitches removed. It didn’t hurt, just stung a little. I again felt how truly kind the doctor was. When I said I felt a bit disappointed with the outer ends of my double eyelids, the doctor said they would check after three months once the swelling had gone down, and if needed, they would redo only the ends with the buried suture method. When I had buried suture double eyelid surgery before, other hospitals had never done anything like this, so I felt even more reassured. Now, three weeks later, the bruising and swelling have gone down a lot, and people say my eyes have gotten noticeably bigger. My forehead actually feels more rounded now, maybe because it is still swollen, so when I look in the mirror, I think I hope the swelling doesn’t go away. My eyes still have some residual swelling, but the double eyelid lines seem much more even than before, so I’m satisfied^^
