At first, I wanted to get revision eye surgery and breast surgery together, so while looking for hospitals that could do both, I first went to ㄱㄹ and ㅍㄹㅇㄷ. I wanted natural adhesion double eyelid surgery and lower canthoplasty.
ㄱㄹ The consultant was very kind, and I saw a lot of reviews saying there was a long wait, but there was no wait. For implants, I had gone in wanting Motiva from the start, so they didn’t recommend other implants. They recommended 325 cc for the size. I wore something like a sizing vest and tried putting in various sizes, and they gave me enough time to think it over. When I personally said I liked 300 cc better, they said 300 cc would be fine too. The estimate for breast surgery started at 3.85 million won, and with pre-op testing fees, aftercare, and various other things added, it came out to about 4.5 million won. For my eyes, I said I wanted something natural, and they told me that in that case I shouldn’t do canthoplasty and should only do natural adhesion. During the consultation, the doctors suited to me came into the consultation room one by one and explained things. Overall, the doctors felt blunt and chic? They only said what needed to be said, and when they asked “Do you have any more questions?” and I said no, they left lol For the eyes, they said incisional would be 2.5 million won and natural adhesion would be 1 million won. They didn’t pressure me too much about a deposit, and they said the deposit was 100% refundable anytime, so I only put down a 450,000 won deposit for breast surgery. In the end, I decided to do it at another hospital, so I contacted them for a refund, and they refunded it right away without saying much. The consultant was super kind, pretty, and had good sense.
ㅍㄹㅇㄷ First of all, the hospital atmosphere was really chaotic. During the consultation, the consultant kept going in and out a lot, and I had taken off all my underwear and was only wearing one gown, but I waited mixed in with men before entering the consultation room. There was no pressure about implants, but they pressured me a lot about what a deposit was and setting a surgery date. They said something like I could only get this price until February or whatever. Director ㅅㅎㅇ looked exactly like he does on YouTube and seemed a little tired. I was a bit taken aback because he recommended 350 cc, but he said since my breasts are set apart, 350 cc would look pretty. He kindly explained the surgery well, but there was no trying implants in a vest and no 3D simulation. Estimate: 4.4 million won + accessory breast 900,000 won Director ㄱㅎㅈ gave me a proper eye consultation. He accurately identified the problem and suggested posterior-lower canthoplasty on only one side. That really drew me in. But the estimate was 2.2 million won... My budget was 6 million won, but this was way over... The consultant said if I did both eyes and breasts, they would do it for 6.9 million won, but I had to do it right away, it might not be possible tomorrow, book the date now... it was too much. My friend’s younger sibling works there, and I went after hearing that they really do breasts beautifully, and the eye consultation was perfect so I really wanted to do it, but it was over budget and the consultant ruined it... lol
After going to those two places first, I went through a phase where I seriously debated whether to do my eyes or not, but because people around me and everyone here talked me out of it, I decided not to do my eyes. Since I was only getting breast surgery with a 6 million won budget, Sebbin Sub was possible too, so I made a consultation list mainly around Sebbin. I made a list with ㄹㅇㅇ, ㅁㅂㅇ, ㄱㄹㅇㅅㅇㅇㅇ, and ㄴㄴ, but first, ㄱㄹㅇㅅㅇㅇㅇ said Sebbin wouldn’t be coming in for a while. ㄴㄴ said consultation with a designated doctor wasn’t possible. ㅁㅂㅇ was fully booked for consultations for two weeks..... So I could only go to ㄹㅇㅇ....
ㄹㅇㅇ First, I made the consultation appointment a week in advance, and the day before, they texted and called to confirm, “You’re coming tomorrow, right?” On the day itself, they texted and called 30 minutes before, asking around when I would arrive. When I arrived, there was no wait. I changed into a gown and was immediately guided to the consultation room. The consultant calmly empathized well and kindly explained Motiva and Sebbin Sub, and she said their surgical method is different from other hospitals, so recovery is faster. After surgery, you go home without any compression bandage or surgical bra, then come back to the hospital the next day to check whether the surgery went well, and then wear the surgical bra. If the next day is a closure day or it’s hard to come in, they just give you the surgical bra and you can put it on by yourself at home the next day. I asked, “How can I come the next day if I’m in pain????” and they said it doesn’t hurt that much, so everyone comes in fine. They said it doesn’t hurt much, so they don’t even give a pain pump. Then I went into Director ㅊㅅㅁ’s office for the consultation, and they took photos of my breasts and showed me a 3D simulation of how they would look. They put my photos on an iPad and explained the surgery in detail. They said my right chest muscle is well developed, I have a job where I use my right arm a lot, and my breasts are set apart, so it would be hard to create cleavage. They recommended subfascial placement rather than dual plane. I wore the vest and tried both Motiva and Sebbin, and they all looked at everything carefully with me. The director was very kind and checked everything meticulously. They recommended Motiva 300 cc and Sebbin Sub 305 cc, and it felt just right. The estimate also came out to 3.8 million won for Motiva and 6.1 million won for Sebbin Sub, so I booked right away, set a date, and had my blood drawn. I still haven’t decided which implant to choose, but for the hospital, I just felt like this was the place.
It is a bit disappointing that I couldn’t go to ㅁㅂㅇ, but the surgery date really didn’t seem like it would work, so I gave up. Now I’m just debating whether to do Motiva or Sebbin Sub...
