My monolid eyes looked a bit heavy, so I had surgery with the buried-suture method about 10 years ago after an acquaintance recommended it. At the time, even for men, thin double eyelids rather than monolids were kind of in style? So I lived with it without much dissatisfaction. These days, it seems like the monolid look is trending again, so I'm looking into eye-shape correction. I'm also thinking about epicanthoplasty or lateral canthoplasty, but I don't prefer my overall facial impression changing too much, so I'm conflicted.
