After <photo from about 2 months after surgery>After <this is about 4 months>Before <this is about 6 months>I found out about this community while looking into revision/restoration because of canthoplasty side effects, and since there are a lot of posts worrying about side effects... I decided to sacrifice my eyes as an example (I also need to level up haha)
First, I live outside Seoul, so I had it done in Busan, and it’s been over 2 years. (I looked it up and I had it done in May 2020)
Every place I went for consultations said there was no space to open, so it couldn’t be done, and I had given up. Then I got the urge again and started going for consultations again. They said their method was different from the existing method, so although they couldn’t open much backward, lowering the outer corners was possible, so I booked right away and had it done.
My outer eye corners were upturned, so when doing makeup I tended to do various things to compensate for that part (like lateral canthoplasty makeup), and I also wanted to reduce that process. (Conclusion: now I defend my makeup even more intensely)
Depending on the person, the photos might be a bit disturbing... They aren’t recent photos; they were taken within 1 year after surgery. The close-up photo of just the eye was one I took to talk to the clinic about it, but even after seeing that, they didn’t give me a solution.. ha (for reference, it was taken about 6 months after surgery) I still can’t forget the director’s expression and tone back then. That image of him just saying what he wanted to say and going into the operating room;

Now that ㄷ-shape is so severe (it almost feels like I have two outer eye corners), I’m looking into restoration, and since I live outside Seoul, I don’t have much time to go around Seoul for in-person consultations, so for now I’m doing tons of online research. Then I’m planning to narrow it down as much as possible, get all the consultations in one day, and decide.
If anyone has had revision canthoplasty, please recommend a clinicㅜ.ㅜ Seriously, ever since the canthoplasty, I can’t really look people in the eye when talking,...
