The hospital where I first had natural adhesion was good too, but this time I planned out consultations at several places, checked everything carefully, and made my decision. In most cases, you consult with the consultant manager and then meet the director on the surgery day, but at the plastic surgery clinic I went to this time, the director’s consultation had a big influence on my choice. If my double eyelids were going to come undone, I wish they had come undone cleanly... They came undone in a weird way, so I was worried, but they explained easily how they would set the uneven lines to make them symmetrical, so I was looking forward to the surgery.
After the surgery, there was a lot of swelling, but when I looked in the mirror, the uneven lines seemed to have been matched well, so I thought I did well to get revision surgery, and I really liked it. Incisional revision surgery definitely tended to have swelling that lasted longer compared with natural adhesion, but after the stitches were removed, the swelling went down quickly and it became very natural. My friends around me thought I originally had double eyelids, so it doesn’t look obvious that I had revision surgery, and I’m very, very satisfied.
