It took 1-2 years after the revision surgery until I heard they would give me around the mid-1 million won range.
But while they acknowledge fault, the refund is really... They kept saying they would give me the low 1 million won range after arguing from the 800,000 won range. They said the expert opinion was 800,000 won, and because I appealed, a non-expert said they would give an opinion of the 1 million won range.
But when I got a revision surgery consultation at another clinic, they said it would be 5 million won. Where could I get revision surgery with that mid-1 million won amount... What feels even more hopeless and despairing than that is that even if I get surgery at the clinic where I had the consultation, they said it would be hard to improve. My eyes are impossible to recover... But what they say is, it's not like it became necrotic or I received a disability grade, isn't that ridiculous? I kept asking them to increase it, and the clinic said they wouldn't give more.
The clinic called me. But I wasn't in a situation where I could take the call. I said I was at a clinic. Meanwhile, they kept saying that I didn't fill out and send back the settlement agreement they had sent me, and that they suffered damage because I posted about it. Then they said I had verbally agreed and then changed my mind. I said I had said I would check it, and that I had never verbally agreed. They pressured me, asking whether I would write the settlement agreement and take down the post. I said I would write the settlement agreement if they increased the amount, and the clinic said they couldn't increase it, so was I saying I wouldn't write the agreement, and pressured me several times like that.
From the beginning, I kept saying I couldn't settle for that amount, but they keep saying that they said they would send it so I could check it, and that I verbally agreed. What do you think?
