My nose condition
I have a bulbous nose.. It is not a large nose because of cartilage, but a large nose because the fat is thick.. So the skin is thick too. My nostrils are not on the large side, and my columella is a bit short. My nasal bridge is not extremely low. I have a hump. Effect I expect from surgery
I want to reduce the blunt-looking state of my nose from the front even a little. Honestly, I prepared photos of Shin Se-kyung’s and Go Youn-jung’s noses, but I thought it would be impossible to make my nose like that given my current nose condition, so I never showed them... Plus, I want to do it without implants.. I told every hospital that I have no desire for a higher nasal bridge, that I want no implants, and that I hope it can be corrected naturally but in a way that suits my face well when seen from the front.

Both the director and consultant were kind, and they seemed to be the type to say no when something cannot be done. But at the end, they said it might be good to do a little alar reduction, so I felt a bit uneasy. Looking at consultation reviews, it kind of feels like alar reduction is included similarly for everyone. Still, among my clinic-hopping list, I liked this place the most and had made up my mind.. but I heard people say they regretted being swayed by the consultation, so I’m planning to visit more places.

I don’t know if the director had surgery next, but I had seen many consultation reviews saying he was kind, yet he spoke so fast that I wondered if he didn’t want to make money, and somehow it felt like he didn’t want to do the surgery? This was the only place that recommended osteotomy, but I liked that they firmly said I did not need alar reduction.. But during the consultation, they didn’t show me other people’s before-and-after photos or anything like that. He just touched my nose, drew on the consultation sheet, and that was it.
I actually talked better with the consultant. Maybe because I complained a bit to the consultant, asking if the director had surgery next.. haha Anyway, for this place.. I’m debating whether to go for another consultation or exclude it.

This was the only place where, when the consultation started, the staff first took photos with a camera and consulted while looking at the photos. The director.. touched my nose and then immediately washed his hands.. (Should I call this hygienic.... ) If he had to touch it again, he touched it and washed his hands again.. He speaks rather softly, but not in a kindly soft way; his tone was kind of like, “This could happen…” “It may be hard to expect a dramatic effect…” that kind of tone ... haha He hit me with facts. I know my nose is not good and has basically everything going on overall.. but after this consultation I felt very, very... sad.. It needs correction, of course, but after hearing about five times that it would be hard to expect a dramatic effect, I lost the desire to ask questions. Still, it was good that I could clearly hear whether improvement would be possible.
Since it newly opened not long ago, the facilities are clean. Even though it opened not long ago, the doctor had also been at ㄴㄹㅇ and in Gangnam, so I’m not worried.

Honestly, at this point it was an evening consultation, and I was so tired from clinic-hopping.. and there was no answer lol.. I didn’t actively ask questions and didn’t really feel like doing it.. Since the cost was sharply different from the start, I was like what is this, and it was a place I excluded from my mind completely.. They also recommended alar reduction.. When I asked about alar reduction, they said they personally thought I needed it.. I also asked what if my nostrils become straight-line nostrils, and they said something about elasticity near the nasal tip.. Ah, I don’t remember. I just wasn’t interested..
They were talking in the direction of raising the nasal bridge, but when I clearly said no implants, they reflected the no-implant opinion too. I think I’ll exclude this place entirely. They explained while drawing pictures.

Other than that.. I don’t know if there are more. Maybe I need to do more online research.. What I felt is that online research is not all that necessary, and clinic-hopping seems to be what matters.. I think there are really a lot of broker reviews online. It’s best to hear reviews from people who actually had it done on the internet as much as possible, and even better if you have someone close to you.. I don’t have anyone around me, so it’s a bit hard..^^.. Advice welcome..
Seoul is really not an environment I can go to. I also have to get aftercare.. ㅠ Ha, what would it have been like if I had been born in Seoul..^^
