In 2017, I had incisional double eyelid surgery / ptosis correction / lateral canthoplasty at ㄱㄹㅅ, and the lateral canthoplasty completely turned into a ㄷ-shape, the ptosis correction had absolutely zero effect, but I sleep with my eyes open, the incisional scar still remains even now in 2023, and one eye became sausage-like ㅠㅠ
Especially about the parts I thought of as my complexes? I think I just ran a happy fantasy circuit, only thinking about pretty reviews and a prettier appearance, with the mindset that as long as I got prettier, that was enough..
The reality is, as everyone here who has had revision surgery would know, when there are side effects after surgery, or when you don’t like the result after surgery, you end up under enormous stressㅠㅠ
So now I’m looking into revision surgery for the sausage eye, and I’m really going to research carefully
Before, if I searched reviews only thinking about becoming prettier, now.. especially for eyes,
I first look for whether the doctor has the skill to suture so it doesn’t show even when the eyes are closed. I think whether the eyes look pretty when they’re open can actually differ depending more on how they were originally shaped than which so-called miracle doctor you met.
But the difference in a doctor’s skill is whether scars don’t show much even when the eyes are closed? and whether they provide reliable aftercare/revision support.
When you bring up aftercare after surgery, both the doctor and the consultant naturally tend to have a different attitude than during the first visit, so I think it’s really important whether the hospital can take good care of even those parts.
So what I’m saying is, for everyone who has had a second revision or more with incisional surgery (double-line correction),
if you know a doctor whose double eyelid suturing doesn’t show much, please share the info!!
The people I know are probably familiar to everyone, but there’s Director ㅇㅇㅇ ㅂㅂㅈ, the Apgujeong sewing machine, and Director ㅇㅇㅋ ㅊㅁㅅ near Gangnam Station, whom I recently found out about after reading a post on their website. I think it’s about those two, but I’ve only just started doing online and in-person research, so please recommend other doctors too!!!
