I had under-eye fat repositioning yesterday, and I did not have fat grafting.
I called the clinic a little while ago to ask again about aftercare,
and they said that starting from day 3 after surgery, I should remove the under-eye taping,
then put waterproof bandages on the under-eye areas where the tape had been whenever I shower. (They had never mentioned waterproof bandages before, and only brought it up for the first time when I called, so it felt a bit off. Sometimes the staff do not really know and just say things.)
When I searched, it seemed like waterproof bandages apply to people who had fat grafting, no?
Or is it right for me to put on waterproof bandages too? I did not even have fat grafting, so there does not seem to be a reason to put waterproof bandages under my eyes, and I am wondering if this is correct.
What clinics say is all different, so it feels a bit strange, and I am asking!
