Before<Before / After removal surgery>It had been over 3 years since my surgery, and I had everything in my nose removed. It’s been 1 month now. I could feel the skin on my nose gradually getting thinner, and the nasal tip raised with donated costal cartilage was so hard.. When it was cold, the tip of my nose would turn red like Rudolph. I also felt like the nasal tip cartilage was starting to show through little by little, so I began thinking about removal. As I looked into removal surgery, I started having more and more different thoughts and became very worried, so I went for consultations at all the places said to be well-known for removal, and I think I finally did it after a lot of deliberation. The more I looked into it, the more confusing it became.. Until I made the decision.. I thought about my nose all day and it was so hardㅠㅠ It’s still only been one month since the removal surgery, so I think it’s too early to say much one way or another, but one good thing after removal is that even when I’m somewhere cold, the redness at the tip of my nose has decreased a lot. The upturned nose I was worried about before surgery didn’t really happen; for me, rather than lifting up, I think the nasal tip and columella area came down a bit. My original nose had a lowered columella, so maybe that’s why. Also, even before removal I didn’t particularly feel like breathing was uncomfortable, but after removal, breathing became noticeably easier, so that’s interesting! For things like satisfaction and so on, I think I’ll only know for sure after more time passes and everything settles, so I’ll wait and write another review about what I feel later~
