Mark Plastic Surgery Director Lee Jae-jun No consultation fee Small nose, low nasal bridge, spread-out nasal tip, wanted a natural shape
Consultation details: They took a CT scan and explained while looking at it together. They said my septal cartilage was small and deviated, so they would not use it at all. They also said that if ear cartilage is used for the nasal tip, it would eventually collapse anyway, so costal cartilage should be used. Since this was my first time going around for consultations, I didn’t know whether costal cartilage had to be used from the first surgery, but it seemed like their style is to prioritize using costal cartilage somewhat. And it felt like they were guiding me toward using autologous costal cartilage rather than donated rib cartilage. They said costal cartilage should be used to prevent revision surgery, and they seemed confident in their skills. The review style looked natural, so I thought it might be okay, but autologous costal cartilage was something I hadn’t expected, so it also exceeded my budget. With a review event, they quoted around 4.8 million won. The consultation manager was not the pushy type at all, more like, if you want to do it, do it, and if not, don’t... That kind of style. They didn’t separately bring up a deposit either. Anyway, because of the use of autologous costal cartilage and because it was more expensive than I expected, I didn’t make a reservation.
