This was a surgery I really wanted to get, lower posterior canthoplasty, but since I live outside the capital area, I mainly went for consultations in Busan. My eyes are deep-set, so they told me they were difficult eyes that couldn’t get much bigger, even with double eyelid surgery or canthoplasty. I was about to give up and just live with it, but an acquaintance recommended Kirin Plastic Surgery, saying they were really good, so I had a consultation and booked the surgery date that same day. It’s been 5 days since I had it done, and today I had the lower canthoplasty stitches removed. They said the posterior canthoplasty stitches will be removed on day 8. For me, the swelling feels like it was almost all gone after 4 days? I had the surgery under sedation anesthesia, and it really didn’t hurt at all. I haven’t had all the stitches removed yet, but I can really feel that my eyes have gotten bigger, and I like it. Once the wounds heal to some extent, I’ll upload before-and-after photos !!
