My nose length had become much shorter due to nasal contracture. I had consultations at several hospitals, including a university hospital, and this was the only place that said they could operate while preserving the ear cartilage, so I proceeded with surgery. They removed the silicone from the nasal bridge and extended the nasal tip using ear cartilage, but because the contracture was so severe, the length was not extended much.
