ㅇㅍ / Director ㅇㅎㅊ The consultation manager acted really tough. The director spoke gently and softly, but at times spoke so softly that there were parts I didn’t catch. He looked at the CT and explained things well. He didn’t mention things like ear cartilage, maybe because it’s a revision surgery, and immediately brought up autologous costal cartilage if needed. He also said we could add donated dermis over the nasal bridge.
ㅂ / Director ㄱㄱㅈ The hospital itself is a bit old, so it doesn’t feel clean. As for Director ㄱㄱㅈ, aside from being very kind, he explained the consultation extremely, extremely, extremely thoroughly. I think the consultation lasted about 50 minutes. But someone behind him, maybe a new doctor, was standing there listening too, and at some point he had his eyes closed.. Anyway, the manager was so-so too. He did not recommend autologous costal cartilage or donated costal cartilage. He said he used them for about 7-8 years, but does not use them anymore. He said we should open it up and use the septal cartilage if there is any, and if not, use ear cartilage. He mentioned donated dermis, and said donated dermis is fine too. Septum, rhinitis, and nasal valve are all covered by insurance, and since the functional cost is higher than the cosmetic cost, that’s good for me. They can receive more than the functional cost. Overall, I was satisfied with the consultation.
So far, in terms of the nose shape and everything, I’m more drawn to ㅂ / Director ㄱㄱㅈ. I still have ㅍㄹㅁㅇ / ㅇㅂㅈ left to visit..
