Consultation Reviews for NN, OOO, OOD

I'm 고민ing about my first nose surgery!

1. NN Plastic Surgery The wait was just way too long.. When I first went in for the consultation I ended up only talking with the office manager and leaving, but even then it took 1 hour and 40 minutes. I had plans after that and thought I wouldn't be able to wait any longer, so I made another appointment to come back the next day and meet with the surgeon, and visited again the next day. The office manager who had handled me on the first day was off on the day I returned, so I was initially planning to meet the surgeon anyway. (The office manager had explained this part to me, so I knew about it before visiting.) But since this is a large clinic and I hadn't independently researched a specific doctor before goingㅠㅠ, the office manager heard the nose style I wanted and said they would connect me with the doctor who could do that, so I had gone to meet that doctor. (I never received the name properly.) But on the day I returned, I was told 30 minutes after arriving that the doctor assigned to me had gone into a previous surgery late, so I would have to wait longer if I wanted the consultation. I didn't have a super packed schedule after that, but I did have something else later, and I was really annoyed by having to wait endlessly like that. The way they handled it was so frustrating that I just said I'd schedule another time and come back later, then left. In the end, I never even met the surgeon!? (I still don't plan to go back a third time. I might choose one of the other places I consulted with, and I really don't want to wait through NN's long wait againㅠ I wonder if the patient's time just doesn't matter..) I think the cost for the nose CT and the ENT consultation was around 9,500 won, and the consultation itself was free.

2. OOO Plastic Surgery I saw several reviews on the Gangnam Unni app saying they give very careful consultations and that even if you don't get surgery there, it's worth going just for a consultation, so I visited with half curiosity and half seriousness. Since it's a one-doctor clinic, the scale was definitely smaller than the large hospitals, and because it was opening time, I think there were two people there: one who came for surgery and one who came for a postoperative checkup. I first had a consultation with the office manager, then with Dr. ㅂㅊㅇ. They explained things using a facial bone model + a nose model (for explaining the septum,,), which I didn't see at NN. Maybe because I had read reviews before going, but it felt very thorough, and they explained side effects too, which I really liked!! During the later consultation with the office manager, there was no pressure to book, and they just said if I scheduled surgery within this month, I would get a certain discount, then handed me a business card. They also sent me a follow-up message on KakaoTalk that day summarizing the consultation content (which points of the nose they would look at). I didn't know this before going, but seeing that they also have a YouTube channel made me trust them even more.. For now, I'm leaning toward this place! CT + consultation were free!

3. OOD Plastic Surgery There wasn't much waiting compared with NN. The hospital seemed bigger than NN, and the building itself looked more systematic. That made me think it might be more assembly-line-like, but since my cousin had both eye + nose surgery there, I went in just thinking I'd at least get a consultation. I checked in on the 14th floor, had the CT on the same floor, went down to the 13th floor for a consultation with the office manager in the consultation room, then went down to the 12th floor for the ENT consultation, and came back up to the 13th floor for another office manager consultation, the surgeon consultation, and then one more office manager consultation. My rhinitis isn't that severe, but I had gone knowing that if I had a deviated septum or similar, OOD does a linked ENT consultation so it could be done more cheaply, so I also had the ENT visit. Like NN, they recommended a specific surgeon. But hmm, my assigned office manager felt kind of loose in the way they handled customers..? Not exactly rude, but not really respectful either.. I went with my mom, and although she didn't say anything afterward, I was a little uncomfortable..ㅎㅎ It felt like they were mixing formal and informal speech ㅎㅎ.. maybe it was just my imagination? Anyway, after the office manager consultation, they recommended Dr. ㅇㅁㄱ (which is also partly my fault since I didn't go having researched a specific surgeonㅠ), and when I met the doctor, they explained things calmly and carefully! Because I heard the explanation after seeing Dr. ㅇㅇㅇ ㅂㅊㅇ, it didn't feel like they were saying only the absolute minimum, but it was a trustworthy consultation. Later, while discussing the price with the office manager, I thought this place really is the cheapest if you only look at cost.. Maybe that's why it felt even more like a factory..?ㅠ But if you pay a 100,000 won surgery deposit that day and book a date, they said they would discount the surgery cost by about 660,000 won, so I went ahead and reserved a date. ((They said it would be 100% refundable up to 7 days before the surgery date.)) I think the ENT consultation cost came out to just under 10,000 won!
