It’s day 5 since I went to the clinic and had revision posterior lower canthoplasty. I had my first surgery 2 years ago, and I was satisfied even then, but after seeing a YouTuber’s review saying they open it up dramatically, I went right away. When they explained the surgical method and before the surgery, they also considered my facial asymmetry and matched both sides as much as possible, which was nice. The director examined me and told me that my eye bone structure is small. They explained everything in detail, so I liked that part lol Using the facial midline as the reference, they said the left side protrudes more and the right side has less space, and explained well even details like which side needed to be opened more. I thought the director would be too busy for me to even see their face, but they were more fun than I expected lol
The surgery took about one to two hours, and among the surgeries I’ve had, this one hurt the least, so I came home by bus lol Today is day 5, so I had the first stitches removed. If all of them are removed on day 8, my eyes will look much bigger, so I’m completely satisfied. I expected conjunctival edema before going in, but I was surprised there was much less than I thought. Once the small amount of remaining swelling goes down, I think the line will settle nicely. I went because I wanted them opened up clearly so they wouldn’t reattach, and I’m satisfied lol
