Nose Surgery Reviews

For a bulbous nose, surgery seems to be the answer (I had three HiCo procedures, cartilage tying once, then surgery)

I really did not want surgery, so I only had HiCo three times lol. They lifted the nasal tip with threads, and the shape looked fine at first. But you know it is not permanent, right? So every time the tip drooped again, I got another procedure, and that is how I ended up having it three times. When the tip drooped again, I went in for a fourth procedure. That clinic suggested that I instead tie and lift the nasal-tip cartilage, so I also had nasal-tip cartilage tying done.... But my bulbous nose did not improve at all, and it made the asymmetry of my nasal bridge and nostrils even worse T_T T_T T_T T_T T_T In the end, I looked into surgery. I had seen implants inserted and then contracture occur many times, so I was determined to have no implant and visited several clinics. I had surgery at Vn Clinic. Other places said my nose needed an implant, but Dr. Seung-il Oh understood how strongly I disliked implants. He said we could reuse the ear cartilage used before—I had cartilage particles placed in my nasal tip when the cartilage was tied—and improve the nasal-tip shape by firmly supporting the columella with septal extension. I understand it was quite a difficult surgery because the threads in my nasal bridge also had to be removed and cartilage rearrangement was needed. Perhaps because the doctor was skilled, the shape came out naturally and nicely, and because it was closed surgery, recovery was fast too. Whew, if I had known the surgery would end this neatly, I would have had it done sooner... The money I wasted on HiCo and that nasal-tip procedure alone was enormous T_T T_T T_T
