On the day of surgery, my throat was extremely dry, and it hurt a lot when I was first waking up from anesthesia. Soon afterward, I began drinking small sips of water, and after that the pain was not unbearable. Until the first week, there was considerable swelling, and yellow bruising came down to my neck. From week 1, I felt tingling as sensation returned, but there was no major problem in daily life. When I wore a mask, almost nobody noticed. By week 2, much of the major swelling had gone down, though I think swelling inside my mouth and residual swelling remained. The bruising had almost disappeared, and unless I deliberately touched it, it was neither uncomfortable nor very painful. In my experience, Made Young’s swelling care is truly the best.
It has now been over 3 months since my metal-free chin tip procedure, jawline procedure, and double-chin liposuction, and all sensation has returned!!
