Revision rhinoplasty review: Week 2

Two-week review after revision rhinoplasty It has already been two weeks since my surgery. Since this was my first revision rhinoplasty in 12 years, I had many worries beforehand, but I’m relieved that my recovery seems to be going better than I expected. Right after surgery, I had swelling and an uncomfortable stuffy feeling, but it gradually improved with time. I followed the treatments and precautions provided by the hospital, and visited on scheduled dates to check my progress. In particular, the nurse always provided very thorough care, which reassured me. It has only been two weeks, so there is still swelling and my final nasal shape has not yet settled, but it is fascinating to see gradual changes every time I look in the mirror. I am personally satisfied, especially because the nasal tip, which had felt unstable before, now feels more securely supported after surgery. Since this was a revision, I plan to calmly watch how it settles as the swelling goes down and time passes. I am grateful to the director and medical staff who helped with my treatment and recovery over the past two weeks. I will continue following the care instructions as I recover. I am also posting photos so the changes before surgery and at two weeks afterward can be compared. Although swelling remains, I plan to keep documenting the process as it settles naturally over time. I will post a one-month review soon.
