I had closed surgery last year, but I was dissatisfied, so I looked into revision surgery. I said that I wanted my nasal tip to look a little slimmer and more projected, and we decided on silicone plus alar reduction.
From the day of surgery through day 3, my nose felt tight and hurt, so it was very difficult. I also took additional pain medication T_T I managed things by taking New Vein and Danggui Sosan, and diligently using cold compresses. Once the splint was removed and I started moving around here and there, the swelling definitely went down quickly, and now I barely have any bruising.
But the postoperative pain was so severe that it was a nose surgery I never want to have again...... The nasal bridge line seems to have been raised without being excessive, exactly as I wanted, and the nasal tip is nicely gathered, so I am very satisfied with the surgery! My nostrils are slightly uneven, but I think I need to watch that as the swelling goes down~
