Nose Surgery Reviews

A genuine review of non-implant nasal-tip surgery for escaping a bulbous nose from the front (ear cartilage + septum)!

(Except for skin adjustments, the after photos have not been retouched on the nose at all.) Since childhood, my facial feature placement and overall harmony were fine, and I had double eyelids, but my bridge was slightly low and wide. Above all, my nasal tip looked blunt from the front—a typical bulbous, spread-looking nose that made me look a little unattractive from the front. Depending on my condition or swelling, it looked somewhat okay on some days, but truly awful on others, which stressed me out. Even while retouching photos, I often felt that just narrowing the width slightly and refining the tip would make a huge difference. From the side, there was a very slight hump on the bridge? Overall it seemed straight with a slight curve, but the tip looked subtly compressed. This was my first time visiting a plastic-surgery clinic alone after two in-person consultations. The staff were so kind from the moment I arrived that I relaxed a lot, and the surgeon was kind too. I said that I did not want an implant in my bridge and wanted improvements focused on the tip and frontal view; my wishes were fully respected. They accurately understood my original nose and needs, took a 3D CT scan to analyze my nasal structure, and proposed only the surgery I needed: ear-cartilage nasal-tip refinement plus smoothing a step-off. That personalized consultation gave me confidence to decide. The cost is somewhat high without the content-provision and review discounts, but the surgery turned out so well that I am satisfied. I think places like this should do even better, so I have no complaint about writing this review; I actually want to write it. The biggest difference is the frontal effect. Once the round, spread-looking tip was refined to be slender yet softly rounded, my face looked much cleaner from the front. Until one month, it looked a little upturned and could look slightly surgical. After about six weeks to two months, it was barely noticeable; much more swelling had gone down than at one month, so it looked slimmer while remaining natural and aesthetically balanced. However, for a dramatic reduction in nasal width, raising the bridge with an implant would likely be more effective. Because no foreign material was placed in my bridge, I worry less psychologically about complications, and it feels like the exact areas of my original nose that bothered me were improved. For people afraid of putting something in the bridge who only want to naturally improve a blunt, bulbous tip, I recommend this approach: bind the tip cartilages, add ear cartilage to elevate it slightly, and fill the bridge step-off with septal cartilage. For anyone who dislikes an obviously operated-on look, I strongly recommend [Clinic A] and [Doctor A]. Even my mom and friends could barely tell, and I also feel it is not very noticeable. When I compare before-surgery photos side by side, it is clearly improved and prettier, like celebrities who make subtle gradual changes. If you believe surgery must be dramatic and obvious, I recommend adding silicone here or visiting another clinic.
