Eye Surgery Reviews

I had incisional ptosis correction with lateral and lower canthoplasty

I had incisional ptosis correction, lateral canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty with Dr. Kim Dae-hwa at Lowell, and I’m posting more of my review, haha! Since it was an incision, I thought the swelling would last a long time, but after a certain point it went down quickly. I think I did well to have lateral and lower canthoplasty together too. Overall, my eyes feel much more open and refreshed. Also, even when I opened my eyes comfortably, they used to look sleepy, but that has improved a lot, so I’m satisfied! With larger-looking eyes, doing makeup is more fun, and I think I did well to have double-eyelid surgery together.

At first, I worried because the incision line looked a little dark and there was swelling, but over time the line gradually became thinner and settled in. I had seen many people say lateral and lower canthoplasty could reattach, so I was concerned, but now it feels naturally opened even toward the outer corners, which I like, haha. As the horizontal length became longer, I think I can feel the before-and-after difference more. I deliberated over whether to do incisional ptosis correction together with lateral and lower canthoplasty, but I think it was good for me to do them together! haha.
