This may be the most famous clinic for under-eye fat repositioning. I booked a consultation with Dr. Kim Seong-chan, known as a key doctor for this procedure. Unlike other clinics, the consultation was doctor first, then coordinator. The wait was not as long as I expected, but since it was my first consultation, I could not ask questions well.
The first thing I asked was whether I absolutely needed fat grafting. He said with confidence that if it was not something that bothered me, I did not need fat grafting and could simply have under-eye fat repositioning. I asked about changes to the eye shape or the under-eye fullness, and he said the under-eye fullness could become more visible. He showed eyes in cases where eye shape changes, but said I did not apply. When I asked whether fat would be removed, he said a very small amount might be removed if necessary during surgery, but it would not create a step-off or make the eyes look sunken.
It was my preferred date, so I paid a deposit. Since it was during a holiday period, the 20% deposit was 340,000 won, and they said it was fully refundable. The price includes a 550,000-won doctor designation fee. Since fat grafting was not necessary, it was within my budget and seemed fine.
