Eye Surgery Considerations

[Clinic A] Review

I had wanted double-eyelid surgery since about three years ago, but when it came time to have surgery, I was scared and kept putting it off. I am naturally timid, so even when people told me it was no big deal, I would look up adverse-effect reviews and scare myself... Then I saw that a friend had successful eye surgery here, became so envious, and thought I would at least get a consultation. When I went, they said I would likely need incisional double-eyelid surgery because of my skin, and that medial canthoplasty would be good because the inner area looked constricted due to an epicanthal fold. But they explained that medial canthoplasty alone could make the inner corner look sharp, so adding upper canthoplasty would connect the crease naturally and make the eye shape softer. Frankly, I wondered whether I really needed upper canthoplasty too, but hearing each reason explained made me interested. I also liked that they explained things in such detail and did not brush off any questions. Since my friend had a good result here too, I did not deliberate much and have already put down a deposit. There is no consultation fee here, for reference, and no pressure to have surgery. The more questions you ask, the longer they will spend with you, so it may be good to prepare your questions too.
