Nasal bridge and tip (donor rib cartilage), alar cartilage tying: 2-week progress update

It has already been two weeks since surgery, so I am writing this to document the minor swelling going down. When the splint first came off, the area between my eyebrows was swollen, so I was a little taken aback. But once I entered week two, the major swelling went down completely and the line I wanted gradually became visible. Because of filler remaining in my original nose, the contour was uneven and looked somewhat wide from the front. So, during surgery, I dissolved the filler in my nasal bridge as well and decided to refine both the bridge and tip. At the consultation, I said I wanted to go bold: an almost curve-free straight line, with a clean and sophisticated feeling like Seol-yoon. But the doctor said that making it too high given my nasal conditions could make my nostrils look narrow, so we decided on a naturally glamorous look with proportions that fit just right! For the material, I used donor rib cartilage, which felt less burdensome than autologous rib cartilage but has excellent support, to build up the nasal tip. I also had nasal bridge work, alar reduction by cartilage tying, and cartilage tying together. Donor rib cartilage itself is strong, so it really feels as though it firmly supports the tip from underneath without worrying about the tip dropping or becoming weak. It has been a little over two weeks now, and as the swelling between the eyebrows has gone down, I can clearly see the clean straight line I wanted! The line leading to the nasal tip looks much slimmer from the side, and the wide-looking impression seems to have diminished a lot, haha. Most of the bruising has faded, but a little yellowish residual swelling remains beside the nasal bridge and at the tip, so I just cover it with makeup. Perhaps because I used donor rib cartilage, the nasal tip is firmly supported. It still feels numb when I touch it, and there is still a slight pulling sensation at the tip when I smile. But I was told this will become natural as the tissue relaxes, so I am managing it carefully when washing my face or moving around. Rather than simply making it higher, I can see that it was adjusted to a pretty line without ruining the nostril proportions, so I am satisfied and living comfortably, haha. Since it is only week two, I will need to watch the awkwardness between my eyebrows a little longer, but the line itself seems to have come out cleanly!
