These days, I almost forget that I had liposuction. At eight months, I have moved beyond constantly checking swelling and recovery; I feel fully adjusted to my changed body. I had 8,600 cc of pure fat removed from my full back, flanks, and love handles. At first, I checked the mirror every day to see how much swelling had gone down and how my contour was changing. Now my body feels so natural that I barely think about those things. I thought it was nearly complete at seven months, but after another month, the remaining subtle swelling and stiffness settled further, and my overall contour seems even smoother. My biggest concerns were my back and love handles. Now my back looks much slimmer from behind, and the line from my waist to my hips has been naturally refined, so I am extremely satisfied. I notice a big difference in clothing too. I used to worry about my back and flanks, even adjusting my posture when wearing fitted clothes, crop tops, or dresses. Now my back silhouette and waistline look much cleaner, so getting dressed is more enjoyable. I also feel much more comfortable in photos and videos. I used to worry that my back or flanks would stand out from certain angles, but now my overall silhouette looks streamlined, so filming feels much less burdensome. Watching the recovery over eight months taught me that liposuction is not a procedure whose results should be judged hastily. I worried a lot because of swelling in month 1; the contour began appearing gradually from months 2–3; and after month 6, major swelling subsided and the result became clearly visible. By months 7–8, even residual swelling and tissue stiffness naturally eased, and the contour settled more softly. After surgery, I consistently received the aftercare advised by the clinic and tried not to overdo things during recovery. From the consultation, the surgeon at my clinic directly checked my fat layer by ultrasound. I liked that, rather than removing as much as possible, they shaped the line by focusing on areas needed for my body type. I also personally trusted that they did not perform too many surgeries in one day and focused on each person individually. Their thorough aftercare also reassured me during recovery. My scars have faded considerably now, and I have almost no inconvenience in daily life. As time passes, I find myself thinking more often, “I am really glad I did it.” For anyone stressed about their back, flanks, or love handles, I think it is important to allow sufficient recovery time rather than judge the result based only on the early appearance. I was very worried at first too, but at eight months, what satisfies me most is how naturally my overall body shape and clothing fit have settled. I will leave another review at nine months if anything changes! 😊
