Eye Surgery Reviews

I Love My Lateral and Lower Canthoplasty So Much!!!!

Before surgery, my eyes had a short horizontal length at the outer corners and felt cramped, as in the photo. My outer eye corners were upturned, which made my impression look cold and strong, and that was something I worried about. Especially when I smiled, the corners lifted even more, making my eyes look smaller and less attractive. T_T I was disappointed every time I took photos. Since I also had a wedding photoshoot coming up, I decided to have dual canthoplasty to improve my upturned eye shape and horizontal eye length!! Before surgery, [Doctor A] and the consultation coordinator carefully and kindly explained the condition of my eyes and the direction for improvement. The facilities at [Clinic A] were also clean and comfortable, so I was able to go through everything from the consultation to surgery day feeling at ease. To give the conclusion first, I am 100% satisfied with the surgery. As someone who prefers a natural look over a dramatic one, dual canthoplasty at [Clinic A] was a perfect match for what I wanted. Through lateral and lower canthoplasty, my previously cramped eye shape expanded naturally and I could feel the improvement in horizontal length. My upturned outer corners also became softer, making my overall impression much gentler and brighter. The part I was most satisfied with was also the recovery process. Perhaps thanks to [Doctor A]’s delicate technique, there was almost no swelling. I had only a very slight bruise around one eye, and after about a week I recovered naturally enough that daily life was not affected at all. Around 10 days after surgery, I met family, friends, and coworkers, and nobody noticed that I had recently had surgery. Instead, I often heard, “You look especially pretty today,” “I thought you had lost weight,” “Your eyes look clearer and bigger,” and “You look gentler.” Only after I told them about the surgery did they all say that it looked naturally well done!!!! One regret is that I wish I had gotten medial epicanthoplasty too..... haha Before surgery, I did not do it because I was worried it might look unnatural, but now I think I understand why the consultation coordinator recommended it, saying my eyes could get an even better effect with medial epicanthoplasty. Of course, I am fully satisfied with my current result, but I wish I had listened when it was recommended. T_T Anyway, even if I could go back, I think I would have surgery at the same clinic with the same doctor! I hope my review helps everyone considering dual canthoplasty. If you are considering improving upturned eyes or horizontal eye length, or natural lateral and lower canthoplasty, I would recommend consulting [Doctor A] at [Clinic A]. I hope this review helps those who want a definite change that is not obvious, like mine. haha
